Latin Name: Misgurnus anguillicaudatus

Maximum Size: 15 cm

Preferred Water Conditions: Will acclimatize to a wide range of conditions. pH: 6.5-8.0

Temperature: Temperate water-temperate between 10-25 deg C (34-72 deg F)

Care: A non native species. They are accomplished escape artists and will find any open holes in the top of the tank. Make sure your tank hood is well secured, they can also become very active during thunder storms and race up and down the aquarium. They are a bottom dwelling fish so therefore they can be along side many other fish.

They will eat most pond foods available in pet shops as well as insect and waste matter in the pond.
