Blue Sakura Shrimp Neocaridina Heteropda 2cm

Overview: The Blue Sakura Shrimp, a captivating variant of Neocaridina heteropoda, boasts a stunning blue hue that adds elegance to any freshwater aquarium. With their peaceful demeanor and manageable care requirements, these shrimp make a delightful addition to planted tanks.

Origin: Originally from Taiwan, these shrimp thrive in freshwater habitats with stable water conditions.

Feeding: Blue Sakura Shrimp are omnivorous and enjoy a diet comprising algae, biofilm, blanched vegetables (like spinach or zucchini), and specialized shrimp pellets. A balanced diet promotes their vibrant coloration and overall health.

Tank Mates: Ideal tank mates include small, peaceful fish like tetras, rasboras, or guppies. Avoid housing them with larger, aggressive species that might prey on or stress the shrimp.

Aggression: These shrimp are non-aggressive and generally exhibit peaceful behavior. However, it’s advisable to provide hiding spots within the tank to reduce stress and promote their well-being.

Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of varying experience levels, including beginners. Basic knowledge of maintaining stable water parameters is crucial for their well-being.

Water Parameters: Blue Sakura Shrimp thrive in stable water conditions with temperatures ranging from 65°F to 78°F (18°C to 25°C) and a pH level between 6.5 and 7.5. Ammonia and nitrite levels should remain at zero, while nitrate levels should be kept low through regular water changes.
