This Carbon cartridge is constructed with a mix of coconut shell carbon and activated bituminous carbon to provide a great level of efficient filtration for applications in drinking water, reverse osmosis and aquatics.

Carbon blocks are a wide used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine, VOCs, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, caesium and strontium whilst reducing water hardness. They also improve the taste and odour of drinking water. Supplied water penetrates the block from its outer surface to the core. Removed compounds are held on its surface while purified water passes through to the inside of the block.
